Did you know that a child who has never attended preschool or been read to by caregivers, enters kindergarten with a 400,000-word deficit and almost never catches up?

Did you know that studies show employment is the cornerstone in addiction treatment, and that those in treatment who also participate in workforce development reach sobriety and have fewer relapses than those who don't?

Did you know that studies show poverty is often a factor in incarceration, so alleviating poverty can help break the cycle of incarceration and recidivism?

Outreach's research-based child-serving programs are geared to help improve connections between parent and child;, prepare children to succeed in school, and our robust L.E.A.D. (Lead, Educate and Develop) workforce development center has an 85 % success rate in helping job seekers find gainful employment.

We support the entire family unit, and our programs are geared toward moving individuals and families toward stability and economic self-sufficiency.

An example of what your donation will help:

  • Buy bus passes to get parents to work
  • Buy books to help families increase their literacy
  • Continue to help infants born to mothers working to overcome opioid use disorder to be healthy and thrive in the collaborative Healthy Moms program, like the 20 babies who just celebrated their first birthdays at Outreach.

Thank you for help our community's families and children!
